At Saturday's inaugural Wish Ride of Colorado, motorcyclists will take to the streets of Longmont and nearby communities to raise money for children with critical illnesses. The charity run is a revamped version of Frank's Ride, which was held in Longmont for 35 years. Most members of the new group's leadership got to know each other through Frank's Ride and came together to form Wish Ride of Colorado when the original organizers retired. 'We've got the full backing of the Frank's Ride supporters,' said Tabitha Keagle, in charge of marketing for Wish Ride of Colorado.
