Longmont Public Safety notified residents that a court-designated 'sexually violent predator' is currently homeless and residing in Longmont. Russell Ehrlich, 46, was convicted in 2012 of sexual assault with a 10 year age difference in both Boulder and Weld counties. In 2013, Ehrlich was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child — possession of material. Longmont police are required to publicly share when sexually violent predators move into the area by Colorado law, the post said. Longmont Public Safety spokesperson Robin Ericson said the alert was issued because Ehrlich recently moved back to Longmont.
